The teaching philosophy at The Lohse Studio of Music is based on Dr. Suzuki’s Mother Tongue Method; an music educational method which strives to create “high ability” and beautiful character in its students through a nurturing environment.

The Lohse Studio of Music provides both private and group music lessons for violin, viola, cello and piano. The lessons are structured to develop both music reading and listening skills. As the student progresses, groups and ensembles are utilized to motivate and develop sight reading skills.
