Welcome to the Lohse Studio of Music.

The studio offers many different features including lessons performance and instruments. A new feature is the listing for Ode To Joy. Check us out when you need live music for your some celebration

The teaching philosophy at The Lohse Studio of Music is based on Dr. Suzuki’s Mother Tongue Method; an music educational method which strives to create “high ability” and beautiful character in its students through a nurturing environment.

Our Souderton, PA music studio provides both private and group music lessons for violin, viola, cello and piano. The lessons are structured to develop both music reading and listening skills. As the student progresses, groups and ensembles are utilized to motivate and develop sight reading skills.

We want to make it fun and exciting to learn how to play an instrument!

In addition to high quality musical instruction, all of the Suzuki books and supplemental materials are offered. If you are interested in finding the best instrument for you or your child see what we have to offer. It’s the best of both worlds; you can rent the perfect instrument for you until you own it. The “rent to own” plan works for you and your budget.

A huge thank you to Robin Lohse and John Sheahan of Ode To Joy for lending their talents to our wedding. They performed a tasteful mix of classical and Celtic tunes as our guests were seated, including Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring as the Processional and The Bridal March. We received many compliments on the beauty of the music, and we would highly recommend them as a duo, trio, or quartet to anyone who wishes to add a touch of elegance to their wedding or other formal affair.
